The Building Industry and Land Development Association (BILD) recognized the GTA’s best home building and development industry members on April 28 at the 36th Annual BILD Awards. A group of expert judges across North America chose winners in 47 categories associated with sales, marketing, design and the construction of new homes ranging from detached single-family units to high-rise developments.
There were several changes in this year’s awards, as many new modernized categories were created to reflect today’s housing market including Best Marketing Innovation and the inclusion of mid-rise developments within several awards.
For the first time in the history of the award ceremony, two Home Builders of the Year were recognized, Great Gulf Homes for low-rise development and Tridel for mid and high-rise development. (Tridel also won several other awards.)
“The GTA is home to some of the best projects in the world, thanks to the hard work of local industry professionals,” said BILD president and CEO Bryan Tuckey. “Their hard work is a testament to the quality of our communities, which is what makes the GTA such a great place to live.”
