Happy New Year! Hopefully the world has not ended since I wrote this on Dec. 16 just as I started my holiday vacation.
As I look back on 2015, it was a year of both professional and personal growth: a new relationship with a special lady; my consulting work picking up speed; and the foundation for additional community involvement is taking root. Sometimes I marvel at how I am able to manage my time with so many different things pulling my focus and attention in many directions.
Planning for 2016 is well underway with the roll out of new designed media guides for the GTA Construction Report, Ontario Construction Report, Canadian Design & Construction Report and the Barrie Construction Association magazine. The changes to a sleek and most visually interesting media guide has already gathered positive feedback and a few new contracts have been signed.
As soon as the first week of January arrives and people return to work and shake off the cobwebs of the holidays, I will start work on my February reports, highlighting several different industries and including profiles on some industry executives, women and some young leaders.
The one area I am hoping to expand on for 2016 is more milestone articles about companies celebrating anniversaries. These are often done at no cost to the profiled company with ads of support provided by clients, sub-trades, suppliers and industry professionals who enjoy bragging about working with them.
Are you celebrating an anniversary in 2016? Would you like to be profiled in the GTA or Ontario Construction Report? You can do this for as little as $1,500 for a two-page profile or we can work with you to do have the cost lowered and article size expanded by having the companies you work with sponsor it.
