Mike York, president of Carpenters Union Local 27, has asked GTA Construction Report to help get the word out for a Humber Hospital fundraising event.

The event, featuring entertainer Jarvis Church, is hosted by PCL Construction, PeterandPauls.com and the Carpenters’ Union.

“I’m just keeping you in the loop on our outreach and info regarding the Humber Hospital event on June 17 at the Paramount, with Jarvis Church,” he wrote in a note.

This  $2 billion project will result in Canada’s first fully digital hospital which will serve 850,000 people in the north-west quadrant of the  city and GTA,” Yorke wrote.”Scheduled to open in October, 2015, it is nearly complete with over six million man hours done safely.

“We are recognizing the workers and companies for the great safety record on site during the event,” he said. “The evening’s entertainment will be provided by Toronto’s own Jarvis Church whose skillful mixture of high energy and soulful renderings will be talked about for weeks afterwards!”

“As a board member of the Humber River Hospital Foundation, I would really appreciate your support for this incredible hospital, the great work they do in the communities they serve and for this fantastic event —  “The Million Dollar Challenge” on June 17. I hope to see you there.”
