A leader in scaffolding and access solutions since 1936, Safway has recently expanded its Canadian operations, adding a new Toronto office.
The Toronto branch opened Nov. 19. “Until recently, we served the Toronto market from the Hamilton location for scaffolding and swing stages, while Safway Atlantic provided personnel hoists from our New York branch,” says branch manager Edward Rodriguez. “ Safway Atlantic recently completed the BMO project, which was a large and complicated hoist/scaffold project partially conducted with Hamilton support for parts of the project consisting of an SEP suspended scaffold system that allowed the building to remain occupied while the entire curtain wall was replaced.”
“With a new branch in Toronto, Safway Services Canada will now offer greater accessibility and service capabilities for clients here,” he says.
Safway’s Toronto branch has a 2.5 acre site, with one acre of covered warehouse, providing plenty of space to stock motorized products such as personnel hoists and swing stages with acreage to spare for scaffolding, shoring, pedestrian sidewalk protection and perimeter edge fencing. “We offer a many construction products under one roof so contractors can come to us for virtually everything they need for access, material movement and site safety protection,” says Rodriguez. “We provide engineering and labor services for all the products we carry in our inventory or can provide these on a straight rental or direct sales basis, so we can serve our clients in a variety of ways.”
Safway has 90 locations across North America, including 11 in Canada.
