The Barrie Construction News site provides extra value to BCA Construction Report sponsors by highlighting specific articles, additional online banner ad placements for premium advertisers. The site also will highlight Simcoe County regional coverage throughout the year. The goal is to ensure we provide great service all year and encourage more participation from members through announcements, events or photos.
Soon, some new articles will be posted to the site as well as a link to the special “Women in Construction” profile for Katherine Van Leeuwen, vice-president of Division 15 Plumbing and the BCA’s new president. The article is a great follow up piece to the profile we published four years ago with Katherine as part of our ongoing support to showcase “Women in Construction”.
The site’s design is based on a new South Carolina Construction News (www.southcarolinaconstructionnews.com) publication we launched in January. Our goal is to introduce the new website format to several existing and new areas, providing more intensive and rapid multi-media local coverage. The site has been designed to be effective for mobile phones and tablets, and our developers have allowed us to “clone” the concept.
This means we will be able to create additional local sites for different communities within the GTA and Golden Horseshoe. Top priority will be a special site for the Niagara region.
We welcome your news releases, announcements, photos, and social media connections – and will incorporate these into the new sites as they are developed.
