Durham Company Wins People’s Choice Award at Congress

Molnar Metal Art has been selected as the winner of the People’s Choice Award for the best new product from Landscape Ontario’s 41^st annual Congress, Canada’s Premier Green Industry Trade Show and Conference.

Located approximately 1 hour north of Guelph on Highway 6 in Durham, Ont., right next to the Varney Motor Speedway, Molnar Metal Art (a division of Impax Mfg.) will receive a complimentary 10×10 ft. booth (value of $1675) at Congress 2015 next January. Attendees to Congress vote on the People’s Choice Award from the products on display at the popular New Product Showcase.

“There are always such great new products coming into the landscape and garden industry that it can be difficult to choose the best,” says Heather MacRae, director of events and trade shows for Landscape Ontario. “But the intricate design and effort that went into Molnar Metal Art’s garden gate was exquisite and deserving of this recognition.”

The garden gate displayed by Molnar was a “Peacock and Ivy” theme. It’s one of five new hand fabricated limited designs of 14-gauge metal garden gates with an ellipse-shaped top and powder coat paint finish. After a decade of product development and market testing, this is the first year Molnar Metal Art has been marketing its products. “As the years went by, customers became increasingly excited about our ideas” says Dave. The garden gates are simple to install and come complete with easily reversible hardware.

“This gate is one of our most intricate patterns,” says Dave Molnar, president of Molnar Metal Art. “This peacock and ivy gate is finely detailed featuring wonderful plumage that makes a gorgeous statement piece in a garden.” The company will continue to offer its custom design and fabrication services to landscape designers, fence and landscapecontractors looking to integrate a unique, artistic element to their projects.

Visitors to the new product showcase had the opportunity to vote for the People’s Choice best new product and a chance to have their name entered into a draw to win cash. The winner of the draw for $250 was:
