Construction Specifications Canada (CSC)’s Toronto chapter will host its fortieth annual Building Expo on Feb. 28. The one-day event, formerly known as the No Frills Tradeshow, will feature a luncheon speech by Chris Adamkowski, Google’s head of industry.
The event at the Metro Toronto Centre’s South Building, starts at 11 a.m. with networking and cocktails. After the luncheon, the trade show doors open, continuing until six p.m.
There will be more than 200 exhibitors showcasing construction technologies and industries. While the luncheon is ticketed, the trade show is free, and is meant for architects, designers, specification writers, engineers, facility managers, technologists and other building professionals.
Lecture series speakers include presentations about:
- Changes to Ontario’s construction law;
- The effect of climate change on structures; and
- Building science.
