More than 175 members attended the Niagara Construction Association’s (NCA) awards luncheon and charity food drive on Dec. 9.

The event collected 1,300 pounds of non-perishable foods and raised $6,000 for local food drives. Cotton Inc. gathered the most food and received an award of recognition for this success.

Guest speaker Wendel Clark, a former Toronto Maple Leafs hockey player, shared insights about his career at the professional level – and NCA general manager Karin Sheldrick said guests had the opportunity after his speech to participate in a photo shoot and memorabilia signing opportunity.

GTA Construction Report will publish a special feature about the Awards of Construction Excellence in the February issue.
